I know this thing is from Yamaha, but aren't they badged with 'Star' now, or is Yamaha still marketing this one?

Well Gabe I flew in an F-18 and between almost losing consciousness and then barfing, I can't tell you whether the canopy was optically correct or not.

Default Calling Steven Hawking....

Whew. I'm sure glad that those passenger arm rests are three dimensional. My wife would really be p1ssed if bought one of these and the armrests were four dimensional and existed only in the past like the last bike's.

why does gabe think that the compression ratio is 11.5:1? it looks to be two points lower based on yamaha's press information.

Gabe,

Does the lighter, smaller V-Star 1300 handle significantly better than the larger, heavier Roadliner?

That is, is it a sportier Star than the big dogs?

If so, that would make it a significant addition to the Star line.
