Re: Suzuki School's 'Market Awareness 101' is in session

I've owned at least 60 motorcycles, built 3 from the ground up, and can't even count the ones I ridden extensively, so I'd say we have about the same qualification to talk about motorcycles as we do about firefighting. You ain't even in the same league little boy. Acting like an ******* never qualified anyone for much of anything......except acting like an *******, which you have a distinct advantage over everyone on this board.

Re: 2007 Suzuki Model Line-up

I think there aught to be a manufact coming to the fore with a high-performance 600-650 series bike that brings in suspension and brakes to match the high-tech engines they put in these machines. Just because a bike is a 650 non-supersport, it's suspension and brakes don't have to be parts-bin spec. To get fully adjustable suspension, you have to plunk down another $2K and deal with less fuel economy. I'd happily pay for a SV650S in the $7K range if it had radial brakes, full adj suspension, and other nice touches found on the SS's, all the while marketed to be a sport-touring/commuting machine that gets great mpg. But to achieve the aforementioned, I would have to tear the thing all apart and put on foreign bike assemblies. Why not have a ready-built available?

"Leaning towards the 750."

Considering all the yapping you do about 800's, I should hope so.

"You just listed 4 more bikes you'll never buy."

He's waiting for Chrysler to build a motorcycle.

"You should be able to get any bike in a min of 4 colors Red, Yellow, Blue, Black (with no graphics)"

Costs too much.

An original 1969 K0 Honda 750 is a very valuable motorcycle.
