Default MT-01

Four words.

Em Tee Oh One.

My MT-01 weighs 10% less than the lightest in this group, and 150 lbs less than the heaviest.

It has 115 lbs/ft of torque and 100 HP after minor mods to the airbox, fuel system and exhaust.

It handles like a heavy sportbike and stops better than an R1.

Why doesn't Yamaha sell this bike in the USA? I'll be bringing mine home to the US with me in a few years if Yamaha doesn't get wise before then.

"That little bike holds a 650 v-twin ripoff..."

Actually, Hyosung builds the same basic engine for Suzuki for use in the SV lineup. No rip-off on this one.

Default What are you all smoking???????????

Oh my god,

I finally see a good article to make me renew my subscription, 2007 power cruisers shootout. Great finally something worth reading maybe see how the M109 or my Rocket 3 compared to the top bikes. Wait? What a power cruiser compare and you leave out 2 of the top power producing crusiers???? Come on are you serious what did Triumph quit advertising on your site. I have ridden most of the bikes in this shootout and the only thing they have in common is they should all be sent back to the drawing board and be re-designed. I can say first had that the Rocket and the M109 are faster, have better handling, better ride and feel more stable then the bikes you have tested. I have ridden in a pack with a M109 and a Victory 100ci something; Every time the Victory was in the rear he just could not keep up with us. To VictoryÂ’s credit at least it is an American bike worth buying. The Vmax I donÂ’t even think this is a true cruiser and doesnÂ’t belong in this compare period oh great a 100 mile range on a cruiser I see the title of your next review "We cruse the gas stations of PCH on a Vmax"Â…bad choice guys. Yamaha all show no go. The Vulcan 61 hp??? What where all the mopeds taken? The V-rod the bastard stepchild of the Harley family kind of falls in with the Vmax but closer to the cruiser world.

Here are the bikes you should have had:

VTX

M109

V-rod

Victory

Rocket 3

If you guys need help over there just email me and I will gladly help out so you donÂ’t look like idiotsÂ…because somebody is asleep at the wheel.

You guys might want to leave the visors up on the helmets when you ride because the fumes are rotting your brains.

That's a shame about the Suzuki. Good chance for another Power Cruiser story when one becomes available.

And yes it was a good article(though I didn't mention it before).

I have to give some props for including the maintenance costs. A much desired part of any motorcycle review.

I agree, usually overlooked but important to anyone who's been riding for awhile.
