Try living under a flight deck between the no. 2 & no. 3 arresting gear engines for a couple years. I'm deaf as a post. At least I can't hear the ol' lady screaming about "too many motorcycles"...

The etymotics are great for air travel which I do frequently.

They also have a great set of headphones for your iPod.

Perhaps they might be a bit small...the place I got them from offered custom fittings, but I didn't get one. I am happy with mine, and clearance inside of my helmet is fine.

fyi, they also softened up quite a bit after some use.

I was signed up to go to the Missoula MT. Smoke Jumper school but my first wife talked me out of it. I have the email address of my bosses if you want. I still use em for references..
