Default Re: Go to the gym

I just stitched a Marsee tank bag to a Joe Rocket jacket: the magnets hold my gut in place nicely now, thank you.

In fact, it works SO well; I've patented the idea, and am going to market it as the "Joe Marsocket Semi-Ballistic Gut-Jacket".

All I need now, is someone with no scruples, and close connections to Chinese Slave-Labour sweatshops.

I THINK he was likely referring to street riders/posers you see down at the local cafe, with the latest, greatest hardware with 2" chicken-strips on the rear tire, and less miles on it than your average sunny-skies cruiser-rider (those that actually get out and RIDE their cruiser need not respond - I wasn't dissing you).

But they DO know how well it wheelies from a light, or that it will go over 150mph down a busy Interstate at 5:00pm on a Friday........... wearing a wife-beater, backwards hat, and flip-flops (but a pair of them gold-plated Ti-MAX gloves! Blizzing-shizznit, Yo!).............

Haven't there always been lots of idiots riding around on the streets?

For some reason people are just nostalgic and want to think it was better way back when because they were young then and the fast bikes didn't come with plastic.

Who cares what posers ride, they're not who these bikes are made for oviously these bikes are made for performance probably best explored at the track, so talking about some poser's riding skill seems very irrelevant to the sport bikes.

It doesn't take a sport bike to do stupid things.

Default FZ6 FI Changes

Per Yammerhaw's FZ6 page, the "New for 2007" feature list includes:

"Reprogramming/refining the fuel injection mapping produces smooth power and excellent response."

It sounds like they've addressed most of the little issues that people have been complaining about.

A 2007 Team Yamaha Blue FZ6 will be my next bike!

I'm currently shopping for a bike, and have pretty much narrowed it down to 2 bikes in the 600cc category: the 07 FZ6 or the 07 SV650S. I've been trying to find a lick more information concerning the supposed engine retuning/moding that Yamaha has done. Don't know how this will affect many's complaints of lack of grunt below 6ish. I'd like to know myself. Just how much "retuning" did they do? Gaining a measely 2-3 torque sacrificing 4-5hp up top, or what? Beats me. Been leaning more toward the SVS because of the character of the vtwin to develop more snoose off the line.
