Actually,I saw a Morphous in person at a Yammie dealer.Looks imho a lot better in person.Yamaha should have at least given it 400cc.s sthough.

I was looking at one in a Stealership a few weeks ago - my Wife commented that "The back-end of it looks like a Cadillac El-Dorado".

Righto.

It certainly is long, and low - I have to say that much about it. Draws the eye to it.

Oh yeah - and I think that Honda's Ruckus scooter would have to be upside down, on fire, and attended by no fewer than two Firetrucks, an Ambulance, and an assortment of State and local Police cars to attract the kind of attention I'm betting the Morphous will.............

Any scooter built for prolonged freeway use -- which the Morphous definitely isn't -- has at least 13" wheels, which are generally bias-plies with taller sidewalls, so the actual wheel size is more like 14 or 15", which is encroaching on cruiser wheel sizes. These bigger tires are definitely built for prolonged, high(ish) speed use. For instance, the Burgman 400 I rode felt dead stable at 80 or 90 mph, and it has 14" wheels.

Also, scooter tires are pretty cheap and easy to swap. Even 50cc scooter tires last 3500-6000 miles, in my experience.

Ooh, nice side car on the Italian scooter. That's what we're seeing in picture number two, right? A detachable side car is a really cool idea; and built by Yamaha, you say, with it's own powerplant? Great idea...waaay ahead of it's time. It must be really fast attached to a V-Max.
