Dumb ass this scooter does not cost that much. Re-read the story, maybe use your finger to stay on the right line. The $48k three wheeler was an example of how insanely expensive other three wheelers are.

You are a waste of space.

"Americans want to look "cool" when they ride motorcycles"

true enough, America is poser nation...

but in a few years when wages remain flat, gas is $5 a gallon and the poor sad sack American taxpayer has to start paying off the loans for Booshs' billion-dollar-a-day Iraq adventure...

inexpensive practical scooters may become an acceptable commute alternative to the raised 4WD F-250 with duallies that Detroit bet their future on

I saw the early reviews of this machine in the Italian press and wrote in suggesting a review and I was told that MOrons don't care for scooters. And then you read the thoughtful reader feedback and hope Piaggio knows its market better than management understands MO readers. I'm just glad you had the coglioni to do the review

They still won't sell here, condoms or no. Not that I find that to be a happy thought...

Money, Vlad. I'm sure of it. Not enough coming in, too much going out.

Spec sheet on their website says top speed is 105km/h or 65mph for the 125, and 125km/h (about 75mph) for the 250.

Wonder what the 500 would do...

Default Bottom line: Yossef had FUN.

If it's half as fun as he said, it'll make it. Maybe they 'll even carve a niche *here*, with luck & media coverage...

I'd like to test one myself. That's the ultimate compliment for a write-up, isn't it?
