I like the styling! Very James Bond. It's one of those bikes that every time you look at it you can think of another reason to throw a leg over and go for a wiz.

Well done article! Go MO!

OMG that will make you lose your lunch! Amazing what a few well placed zillions of $ will let you get away with. Yech!

Good old BMW innovation and value. Excellent.

How 'bout the farmer's "handsome" daughter Helga in traditional Bavarian garb?

They were made right down the street here in Glendale Ca. I had one too, a three-speed with disc wheels and trailing link forks.

There was a drag strip the company opened around here somewhere, hopped up nitro powered Mustang motor scooters ran on it.

Hard to believe what 40 years will do to a country...

Order your oversized front brake rotor and Progressive fork springs immediately!!!

Then move onto the jet kit, K&n and slip on after break in. Few simple mods and its one of the best hop on and go bikes around. Try and keep the front hoop down and resist temptation to jump speed bumps or anything you can see to catch air off of. The inner hooligan rises to the surface quickly...
