Indiana is pretty backwards. South of Nap town it gets pretty appalachian what with the snake handlin, all-white counties and tarpaper shacks. The northern part of the state is industrial in parts, sparsely populated agricultural in parts. Indiana is about the reddest state in the Union. It is has been one of the first two or three states to be called for the republican candidate in recent presidential elections
