The cheater thing is as dumb as putting a lawn tractor motor in a sportsbike (Buell). Unless you are buying to compete in a racing class, it doesn't matter. And if you are, then things like contingency and local dealer discounts and sponsorship are more important and a magazine test. Furthermore, the mag you'd care about is Roadracing World, anyway (not that MO is inferior, just more focused on street balance). So, the 675 belongs here.

If it sells well, maybe it will start a trend: top shelf chassis and suspension with engines not limited by racing regs. Something akin to a 420lb, sport-focused VFR.

Also, it is great to have 225lb Sean riding these things. Looking around at the folks I ride with, not many of them weigh less than your average soccer Mom, so we need the thoughts of a guy our size.

I think I'll go get some Popeye's fried chicken for lunch.

I'm thinking more Hypermotard or Sport Classic.

BAM! Well put! We buy them to use. If it's better, cost the same, and is reliable, then who cares if it's considered fair. Fair for what?

Congratulations big T for nice bike!

Default Owner In The Test

It would be one thing if Ole had been the only one of five of us who picked the Triumph, or if he was the tie-breaker...but we all picked the 675 by a big margin. From the moment ass hits vinyl, there is no doubt in anybody's mind I've talked to: the Daytona is the coolest bike here.

Nothing like a little extremist journalism I always say. Placing the Triumph in first on all cards reeks of more insidious hypocritical intent than a gathering of Likud luminaries.
