Basically I love to ride. I'm into sportbikes mainly and my girl loves to ride with me too. Yet she moans on the back of the VTR after about an hour so I'm thinkin there has to be a better option than a Goldwing. I really would get a ZX-10, GSXR1000, or some other superbike but that would be like owning and driving a 400 HP Miata around. You could do it, but it wouldn't be practical for what I want(I must be gettin old;2. I ride way too much for a pure Superbike as my only bike.Imagine having a LOTUS as your only car. A Mustang GT or Saleen would be more in the ballpark.

The FJR is sounding pretty sweet minus the track day stuff which I probably could live without. I guess you gotta compromise somwhere.

You know,....that Falco looks pretty good with the black frame. Didn't really care for it before that though.

You better patent that. It'd be the Transformer of bikes. Sounds good!

Thanks for the reply. I'm not ready for windjammer yet and although I was in love with the RF when it came out, I think it looks too dated for me. Thinkin more modern bike. I think I will really have to compromise a lot.

Hmmmm, I think I will have to omit the track day stuff because that narrows things significantly. What about the Hayabusa or ZX12R or Blackbird???? Anyone ever hustled one through the canyons on a Sunday ride? Two up riding?

Face it. The FJR1300 is what you need. I hear it has 'arm-ripping outta socket 'acceleration and will cruise for hours at 120 mph.
