No Eric you dont understand, they say they wanted to test the race replicas and then the winner will go against the Triumph, and I guess the Kawasaki. So now after all this testing your going to compare the so called winner Yamaha R6 against the Kawasaki and Triumph for a street biased test get real.If all you cry babies wanted a street test then by golley buy your selves a triumph,zx6,katana,or yzf and have a test. But there are people out there who buy the hard core racing 600's who want a real honest test. They should of tested all the Japanese bikes together, then do a street test with the other street 600's.Whatever happened to normal common sense?

Just for your information, due to screwed-up exchange rates, the European bikes, such as Ducati, are very competitive against Japanese bikes in Europe. For example, a 748 only costs about 20 % more than an R6.

So to us here on the other side of the Atlantic, it is really nice to see the Ducatis included in MO tests, even though they are ridiculously expensive in the US. At least compared to other bikes there. Mind you, a new R6 costs around $17.000 here.

the 748S only comes as a "50" state model. It has the same charcol canister on all models. No radical changes to make it meet CA.

Common sense won out, MO listened to the majority of their readers, and did a more street biased test. If you read the test you'll hear which is the best track or hard edged racing bike.

Read the article, it says very near the beginning that the winner of this part would be compared next against the Kawasaki ZX-6R and the Triumph.

If you meant "Why wasn't in the race replica part", say that. But even then I think they explained that.

Hey moron, the Honda and Yamaha are basically unchanged? The Honda went from carbs to fuel injection... how is changing the fuel delivery method "unchanged?" The R6 was changed too, just because it doesn't have a new fairing or a huge makeover doesn't mean it isn't changed(ala R1- the sum is more than the parts). If you want to compare sitting position, go to a dealer. Why do you think they have bikes out on the floor?

Are you really that insecure about your sexuality? Just curious.
