All you MOFOs with a Sprint ST jones; they're out there. I just saw three on the floor at Destination Motorcycles in Knoxville, Tennessee a couple days ago, one silver, one red-ish, and one blue. Looked like three real fast easter eggs.

Common sence tells me GS, everything else is Buell all the way. You'll only need to buy one tire at a time as the front is never on the ground on the Buell. The GS was a nice ride, but the buell had me grinning like a fool. Just waiting for Year #2 as I strictly follow the never buy 1st year rule.

What? What have you guys been smoking? This is the wackiest comparo yet. The FJR and Honda both run rings around the and overpriced BMW. I have ridden the BMW, the St 1300 and an FJR. I haven't ridden the Buell or a recently manufactured interceptor, this comparo is in left field. the fjr simply eats up the bmw, it is like the rabbit and the hare. the ST 1300 feels more stable and has a much better engine. i may try the buell, but it is such a small thing with an antique engine. why doesn't harley let him use the porche twin? Anyone who puts the St 1300 or FJR in last place needs their head examined.

I owned a Buell XB12s. I live in Florida.

The fan was almost always on and the main bolt on the clutch almost fell off. The bike vibrated like crazy. Buells are not reliable despite what eric wants you to believe.

Jeff,

I have sat on the Ulysses. I too have remarked or noted that most reviewers aren't tall enough (I'm 6'5" with a 36" inseam). For the record, the Ulysses fits me like a dream. And when you sit on it, I think you'll feel the sportiness. Check it out!

I was also surprised to see the V-Strom 1000 missing. With the facory hard bags it doesn't even seem like a compromise to me. That bike is practically custom made for this catagory.
