Hmmm, $1,400 for leathers or $14,000 for skin grafts, let me see now...

Default I'll Bet I Can Guess the Brand...

Starts with a "T". They have "CE" labels, but when they make something in Pakistan or India or China, it's not like they care if the suit actually meets CE standards.

It happens to gloves and leathers. That impact just makes the seam explode like it was velcroed together. Did the leather rip from the thread, or did the thread itself break?

I've been using a one piece Roadcrafter Stich since 1999 for the roads and love it. Can't help you with the sizing though. I've also crashed one and it did a great job of saving my bacon so to speak. Be sure and get all the padding and the back protector.

My first suit was a helimot suit and I've been spoiled ever since. My suit was actually made by J.Lindo (his name's on the inside) before he went off and started his own shop (also in san jose).

I crashed in turn 3 at Laguna doing about 60 mph. The suit had some abrasion on the side, but no punctures or tearing and all seams were intact. I've used that suit to this day...although it's now too tight around the shoulders and I've busted the zipper. Doh!

They're stupidly expensive....but I can attest to the value.

I've had the roadcrafter 1pc for 2+ years. I really enjoy the suit. Well made, blah, blah,... But I have noticed I have been favoring my leathers due to less wind protection on my current bike. The stich does grab a fair amount of wind if you're on a scantily clad bike.
