![]() Excellent Point. Especially this part " China, on the other hand, IS guilty of trade violations and is constantly at odds with us." Thanks dlin9713

![]() You are most likely an overly PC, easily P whipped wanker. My wife actually has a sense of humor, so I'm not too worried about what she sees or hears me saying.

![]() It seems like a pretty bad idea to get a beginner a bike with no tack! especialy if they've never driven stick (which in my MSF class was very common...)
The speedo seems like it's a long way from where you should be watching the road too, which I wouldn't think would be good for beginners. I would prefer a beginner bike to have a windscreen as well. I was surprised by how much wind I felt at freeway speeds and I had a windscreen... the wind made me quite uneasy. But I think the worst part is it's so heavy I'd rather have something that would stop a little quicker, and be more tossable over all. I got a 1991 EX500 for way less. It's a great frist bike, nice and narrow for learning to split lanes. It's got enough power that I won't be in any hurry to replace it, handles good, very comfortable. One thing that's nice over the buels (so I've heard) is they take awhile to warm up, the EX500 is rdy to go as soon as I hit the start button, never even needs the choke. maybe it's just me but it seems like it would be a pretty bad frist bike.

![]() Why exactly would anyone need more than this in a cruiser? I mean... Can't you be just as fat and slow on a 250 as you can on an 1800?
