Happy to say that here in the Detroit area, I saw more bikes on the way to work today than usual. "Usual" means me and another guy I sometimes see on I-696. I only saw about 7 or 8 bikes total, and one of them was riding like a complete idiot (you know who you are V-Strom boy). I think I still saw more bikes out today than last years ride-in though....

It's Wednesday, I'm at work and the bike is in the parking lot. I hope is doesn't get as hot as they say it will. I even put a Work to Ride, Ride to Work poster in the front window of the office the other day. Ain't I grand?

And you still work for those assholes? Money must really mean a lot to you.

Sean, it doesn't work too well over here. I saw no other bikes on the way to work today. I do live in the dingweeds though. I usually see more ground hogs than bikes on any given day. Thanks for riding today/yesterday and I too hope everyone has a safe trip to and from.

So why aren't there more riders out there with us everyday.

I see a lot more riders out here in Mesa AZ in the spring and fall. But the same hard core group are out with me in the middle of summer.

See you guys and gals out there today and I do wave, even to mopeds

Such a magnanimous gesture, and they say you're not a generous man? Cretins. Whatever do "they" know anyway!

How can I do that without becoming a cop?

Like every other day, I rode to work. Saw even less bikes than usual.

And the guy on the BMW I pass every morning didn't wave (again).

Ho-hum.

Must not have been me; I came in before the sun was up.

I usually wave to everybody. The only people who don't wave back are usually police and harley riders.

Indeed. Such a lofty pinnacle, so difficult to attain, so kind of you to notice....
