God will bless you - you've done your penance.

We seem to be a minority. Just got back from a 2 week ride and ran into one old gent on a goldwing, his only vehicle! I'd love to live somewhere you could ride year round.

Lame.

Had somebody do something similar while I was in the dorms in Texas... They parked thier standard in thier room where the desk was suppose to be.

You'll have to do better than that!

It is already tomorrow here in Australia (see, we are in advance of the US!!) A bracing 39 deg. F, but sunny this morning as I got the wife's Harley out. Crap ride in, but I am sure the beach will look lovely as I ride home tonight (early to get a new headlight for the BMW).

You are right. The heat here in Boise doesn't faze my '75 CB750F or airhead GS. However, the fan on the CBR runs all the time around town. Kind of annoying, and is probably draining the battery.

I get paid to ride to work, on a bike citizens pay for, and pay for when it needs repairs, so..... na,na,na,na blah blah

By the way I now am furnished with a new electraglide with ABS-pretty sweet.

Well, I rode to work today – Wednesday July 20 – even though I live in Sydney, Australia and even though it is the middle of winter over here (yes, it gets cold in Sydney). Actually, it was not so unusual for me to ride to work but it was very good to do it as part of something bigger. I only wish that the program operated in Australia as well so that there would be more of a presence. Thanks to the international dateline, I was back home before you guys started your commutes, so here’s hoping you have a safe one.

The unfunny thing is, a motorcycle is my only vehicle. But today when I went out to ride, the back tire was dead flat (animal bone no less through the tire). So I had to borrow my brother in law's BIG ass gas guzzling SUV. Tomorrow I will be back riding.

So for me it was pay $60 for gas and sit in freakin' traffic day! I HATE BIG SUVS!!!

Company policy states people who need to travel between the main and remote offices are to be in a company approved vehicle. The company considers travel time as being on the clock and therefore they feel they have the right to dictate the employee's mode of transportation. Traveling using a personal motorcycle is considered a liability and is not allowed. Using a personal car is acceptable.

Well, we all know where the company can shove that...

I have to travel between two different offices today (about a 14-mile ride that can be stretched to about 20 miles with a scenic detour). It's going to be clear and sunny here in the D.C. area and I will not drive my cage. Management will need to have security come chase me down and taser me.

Where can I get one of the Work to Ride, Ride to Work T-shirts?
