Theres an image; Sean passing a gixer1k on the inside on the GW, while sliding the tires, and tossing up a cloud of sparks.....I can see it now.....

There's an ol' fart in Morgantown, WV that regularly pops the front wheel on his GL1500... he usually does this in the company of countless squid... as part of his on going struggle to point out that fancy barely used leathers and pretty stickers do not a rider make.

Last year, a guy at Mid-Ohio Racetrack was doing everything you mentioned AND stopies! I'm not easily impressed, but when he did that, I was.

Keweel! I had no idea. But you knew that...

Though I'm still baffled why OEM's aren't more up to speed on this issue. I just got a Mini Cooper S for my wife. With a very sweet 6 speed steptronic. Pod adaptor in the glovebox. We can control the pod/playlists, etc., from the steering wheel or the radio knobs...and it charges the battery.

Pete, I think we're going to have to change your handle from the "Million-Mile Man" to just "The Man".

Great review.

My BMW has this option as well but of course you have to get the glovebox adapter installed at the dealer for $350 so I passed.

I don't drive my cars enough to make that worthwhile.

Teaching a killer 8-week summer class, writing a book, riding dirtbikes with JR and trying to run a research project. I need to clone myself except that I don't know if even I could stand two of me.

In another 7 days I'm out from under my summer class and life should return to the normal hectic pace.

Re: On Golden pond
Pretty soon maybe we'll be able to order one with a flying bridge, sun deck and jacuzzi.

Ahoy shipmate. Hard to port.

I like the Ruckus too. I'd like it more with a 650 twin stuck in it even more. As for the Morphous, it sort of rhymes with doofus, so it's a good match for me. Same for the Ruckus.
