Can't speak for the Busa but I did ride a ZX-12 and it is quite mind-boggling when it comes to acceleration. I like the understated looks of the black/gold Kawi over the Busa as well.

Understated... like a Trans Am with a screaming chicken on its hood!

Ouch. ya know, since you bring it up i have to say i prefer the installment program for big online stuff. I never have time to swallow these great big stories at work. also sometimes it gets info out there quicker. But yeah i agree, fantastic job men! tho i will have to find time to read the whole damn thing...

I thought that you were a speed reader? Or was that a reader on speed? I can never keep it straight.

Nicely done. Kudos to Professor Hackworth, potentially a worthy contender for Kevin Cameron. Moving away from Hackworth and physics and towards geography, I'm pretty sure that Thunderhill is in the northern Sacramento Valley, not San Joaquin, which ends at the delta.

Had to find fault with something....

Cheers,

Kurt

I'm from Idaho. What do I know I just assumed that the entire central valley was known as the SJ.

Sean, how many of your audience do you estimate has any idea what you're refering to?

You're gonna be talking car tire widths in letters next, aren't you?

Great job on the review, folks!

Default Make me some Pi!

James Watt was the man! But, making those poor horses move, what, 1,000 pounds 33 feet in one minute? How cruel! Or was is 33,000 pounds one foot in one minute? Thirty-three pounds 1000 feet in a minute? Only Turbo the Goat could do the median feat here.

Van is correct in the generally accepted "exact" math, though it depends on how many insignificantly significant numerals you use in devising (deceiving?) the radians per second of engine speed. Methinks 5252 would be "more" right than 5250 but neither is the exactly right number. So who cares? If you just use 3.14 for Pi you get 5254, 3.14159265 you get 5252.1, and so as you carry out the calculation of Pi, the contant goes down.

If'n it is going to bug you Van, we can change it...

All I'm sure of is that pie is best left in the kitchen, it's too early to do the math (BC, even -- Before Coffee!) and I'm pretty sure I'm not statistically significant.

Well I mean relatively understated as compared to the Busa.

You could paint the left side of your T/A red and the right side green and call it a rolling Mexican flag!

Sig figs don't really apply here in the normal sense since this is not a measurement. Van is correct.

But english units still suck.

I showed turbo (http://www.physics.isu.edu/~hackmart/askturbo.htm) our engineering analysis this morning. He promptly ate it. Right about now it's alfalfa fertilizer. So much for fleeting MO glory.
