Default The Perfect Beginner Bike for sport riders...

or those with similar pretenses...

You know what's coming...

The NINJA 250!!!

Laugh all you want, but it's a great bike to have for your first couple of years riding.

Cheap cheap cheap! Plenty of used examples are available in very good condition and won't break your bank account. 60-70 mpg, easy to maintain, easy to fix, cheap to insure. Not to mention the decent sporty looks (I still can't believe how many looks my little, yellow Ninja gets). Ergos aren't bad either, the high clip-ons allow for a very relaxed position in comparison to other sporty bikes, and the seat is quite plush too .

I can go on and extoll the virtues of the 250 'til my fingers fall off, but unfortunately, I'm not on Kawasaki's payroll.

But if there are any of you out there who would like to know more about how I feel about the little Ninja that could, I'd be more than happy to fill you in.

Bobby the Ninja

Hey, if you're attempting to communicate with a University of Miami graduate you have to spell down to his level.

I was wondering how many people would get his Blade Runner reference.

Well, I'm fairly rotund, but I wear it better than dear old Chris. I've also been known to chop-sockey from time to time, but that's usually over a dish of Moo Goo Gai Pan.

One could argue that you've left your helmet straps unbuckled on more than one occasion as well.
