I put almost 1,000 miles on an F650CS. Rode it back and forth to work on Mulholland Highway for over a month. I think it's a fine and fun motorcycle.

I'm also 6'2" so I think you'll find the new RT's airflow to your liking.

As of yet the R1200S has not yet been anounced. Thus I am sure it is not in a showroom in LA.

I was looking for a "reliable" rumor on when we might see it though

I believe he meant the K1200S.

Props to the great review Sean! I especially liked the new videos with "voiceover" describing the controls and features of the bikes. A nice touch compared to the walkarounds and dyno runs we have gotten used to.

It was nice to see that I wasn't the only person picking butterfly guts out of my leathers and helmet this weekend, it looks like you painted the ST in those babies!

Do like I do. Just wait a few years and buy used. BMWs depreciate like anything else, except a Harley.

Twice the bike, half the price.

Bandits, or to throw a bone to seruzawa, any a/o cooled Suzuki four is about the best motor you can get. Excellent performance, damn near bulletproof and a s**t load of aftermarket support.

Sigh.

Two things from the 80's that I miss - my hair, and good-looking Beemers.

Who is BMW's chief motorcycle stylist - is it Chris Bangle, the same guy who's currently destroying their cars?
