I was about to b!tch about the fact that the Triumph Daytona 650 was overlooked, then read down far enough to find our they declined to participate. Two Wheels Only managed to get one for their shootout. They basically said it was far and away the best streetbike, but was half a step off all the others in terms of track performance.

This is by far, the best article ever, ever published on MO. I tip my hat to all of you (even you Sean). Job well done. Respect wholeheartedly given.

Fonzie - Once again an excellent job with the pics.

Gabe - MO has found the right man for the job. Massive kudos.

Well, one can only assume that HWMBO (Bloor) wasn't interested, or perhaps TriumphUSA is operating in the "if I haven't said Yes, assume the answer is No" way of doing business.

SA, just go down to your friendly neighborhood Dealership and see if they've sold a 650 locally. Contact the person and offer him/her all that MO swag, International recognition and maybe some "Professional Instruction" for some track time on his bike.

Should be a Piece O' Cake!

Ik,

I believe you meant Two Wheel Freaks. The link to the article is:

What? Firefox is the rave, man. That old IE you're using is complete stone age. It's slower and clunkier than a VMax! Especially one that won't rev past 9000 rpm.

Hey wait a second....

Actually, no, I meant the British print publication, Two Wheels Only. Thanks for the link, though.
