It's also considered boorish to wave a flag for any bike other than the Most Excellent Triumvirate (VFR/Connie/SV650).

Default 2005 Middleweight Supersport Shootout

Gentlemen: What a great job.

Terrific, thorough piece of journalism. Video, pics galore, good writing that destroys my productivity here (what little of it remains).

You got there first with this story and tossed it to the wolves in TEN DAYS!!! Hats off.

Two comments:

1. Were I in the market, I pick the GSXR. It has one performance category here in Seattle that commands respect: You can get a test ride. Any other of these bikes, won't happen. Also, it's just a bit cheaper than the others. It 500 clams less than the Honda, which is not likely to make someone pick the Suzuki over one of the others, but it's worth recognizing.

2. Could the Kawi be more balanced? One tester chose it First, one chose it Second, one chose it Third, and one chose it Fourth.

Well heck for $7 I would have had to sit there and read it like all the other tightwads.

I'll take an autographed copy. You know where I live. Now that you're a fancy print publisher you don't return phone calls anymore.

What good does a test ride do if you can't compare it to the others?
