Buz, you were already cool. This just makes you that much harder to catch in the cool stakes.

Got that 100% right. I will not buy a motorcycle without riding it first. End of story. There hasn't been a dealer yet that has turned me down when I come in with the cash and interest in a bike. No ride, no sale.

It's not so much the open source code as those browsers stick very closely to the W3C standards that they ALL were supposed to stick to. IE and Netscape were the two biggest offenders for allowing browser specific features to creep into their apps. These guys are going back to the basics and making it work. Since I have developed more than one web application, I can tell you it's quite a headache trying to code for every version of every browser. That's why most sites just say "Use IE 5.0 or greater" and they are done with it. Pain in the ass it is.

First, absolutely awesome job.

Second, and this is an odd compliment, but thanks, Sean, for not being a little guy. I get sick of hearing 150 lb guys say that a bike's springs are too firm. In Japan maybe 160lbs is average, but I don't know many American riders who are that light (not even counting Harley riderz and their cows) and you are the only 200+lb tester I have ever seen.

So, it is great to see somebody who can actually compress a spring riding a moto.

Somebody needs to send Japan a letter with some demographic info. Even aside from Biggie Sized meals, we Americans are bigger and tweaking bikes for average in this country would be a good idea.

Glad to hear that Kawi fixed the 6R. I have two friends with them. One a 2004 and the other a 2005. Wow. The 04 is a horribly unpleasant beast to ride and the 05 is a sweetie. Not as sweet at my Orange Z1000 though.

I have a 2004 636 and like it a lot better with suspension tuning. I also changed the front tire to a 120/70/17. I just bought a set of Pilot Powers and I think they're the best tires I've ever ran. The bike now feels very flickable/light and fast, although it will shake it's head when pushed.

I'm a big fan of the z1000 as well, very good bike.

I read on Suzuki's site that it was released to the media on 2-10-05. I haven't seen a word on it though. I'm pretty interested it seeing what she'll do after the SBK 1st round sweep.
