My philosophy is this: If you buy enough drinks, most people will pretend not to dislike you, while you're around. If I'm not around... I don't care!

I test drove a Legacy wagon a year or two ago, not the Outback. I drove a Forrester as well. My wife wanted an Explorer so we got that instead. It wasn't a bad vehical, but I prefered the Subaru.

I like all the TDI VW's, I'd probably get the Passat because it has a little more room for us tall folk, but all of them are pretty cool. I wish there were more viable options for Diesel's here. In the UK and Europe you can get a Diesel version of almost every model made.

The last car I owned (almost two years ago) was a Jetta GLI Wolfsberg (sp?). I thought it was a great car. 35 MPG at 80 MPH. Besides, have you noticed that lately, Strangely, diesel is more expensive than premium unleaded?

I always wondered what it'd look like with the now-unused fairing vents housing the headlights and the stock round headlights removed and replaced with racing plastics.

Hadn't looked at the pics yet, they flushed the top vents, those were where I'd replace the lights.

Twin cyclops bulbs just don't do it for me.

I guess I need to die from something. It might as well be second hand smoke!

The 999 is pretty when viewed from the side, top, back, riding position and probably from underneath. However, it still gags a maggot from the front even though the "666" devil horns were removed. I, however, would not turn it down if you were to offer it to me FOC.

Is it just me or does Yossef make you want to own every Italian bike he tests? Great review and thanks for making me hate being poor today.

I wonder if all the IMS shows had the same display bikes? In San Mateo I was looking at a Duc that had these aftermarket rear sets, the most perfect milling work I've ever seen... light and delicate looking, artwork in titanium

So in a little display next to the bike I see the price tag, $2,500 for a freaking rear set...

but like most things Ducati, if you've got the money it's worth it. People pay a lot more for artwork that sucks a lot worse
