Yossef comes though again, well written, and informative.

Please explain the tampon thing, I'm a little confused about it.

The main thing I can think about this bike (other than the hefty pricetag) is this gives an indication of where the 999 could have been if Ducati had brought him back for the redesign.

No. And it doesn't have rotary valves either!

Actually, I was in college when I read most of the awful stuff like Dracula and Cooper. In High School we read Bradbury and Salinger. As an English Major in college you get to read all sorts of self-important crap. Don't even get me started on the experimental fiction and poetry of the 20's and 30's. I get confused and angry just thinking about it.

Yeah, archaic language doesn't even begin to explain the travesty that is Dracula. Or J.F. Cooper. It's the ridiculously bad plotting, redundancy and over-the-top, flowery, melodramatic nature of the writing. Ben Franklin would have turned over in his grave.

Even my professor offered a disclaimer about how bad Stoker and Cooper's writing was. Then he had to justify reading this crap because they were "important works for their time."

Cooper was sort of like the Jackie Collins of his time.

Nice bike the IT 175, and the later 200. With their fuel range, and the need for two stroke oil, they weren't the ideal choice for the long distances between gas stops in Baja however. VWW

Oh, come on now. We mustn't offend anyone. If someone wants to write stories in which all the verbs are left out of the sentences then we must appreciate such "art".

I know. I'm looking to acquire a used DP350 or something like that so I can spend a few days exploring Canyonlands next spring. 25 mpg doesn't cut it when it's 100+ miles between gas stops.

I'm just trying to figure out how a guy can sit such that he can see both his wiener and the monitor at the same time (and why?).
