Your leaps of logic are astounding. I have never said that I like graphics on motorcycles. In fact, on sever occassions I have praised clean designs and solid paint schemes. Try again...

These mega-scooters are for real. I know a guy with a honda silver wing, and he rides it all over the country. He says it's the best long distance hauler he's found because of the way it doesn't restrict foot placement. I hate to admit it, but that's a valid point and these new scooters could be the best small bikes for touring available.

These new so called "scooters" like the Burgman(dumb name) and the Silver Wing are actually awesome bikes. Now if your into the Harley image thing you can't see that with your blinders on but in many ways these "scooters" will outperform those look at me rides. Top speed on these bikes are around 115, that's right 115. Many of the LAM rides barely do that. I know people who have done demos on these and were very impressed. Of course at 7K for a scooter they should be. "Down with Honkies"? What is that about? Sounds like something belonging to some other forum. What's up with that?

You are correct, most "bikers" , can't see beyond the it does not look like a cruiser thing. Now true motorcyclist can because a true motorcyclist rides for the feeling ya get having a good motor propel ya around on a good handling set of 2 wheels. Heck I remember when 1st rode a minibike, I was in heaven.

I'll have to decide which is my best logging road bike. I rode the Ducati down a rutted dirt road once. That was interesting. The MV has Pirelli Diablo Corsas on it right now which probably isn't your standard logging road tire.

850 lbs of Geezer Glide on anything less than pavement is just plain scary.

I bet one of those Burgmans would be right up your alley. You can serve as the modern symbol for establishment oppression of the disenfranchised... complete with designer scarf and nifty half helmet.

And you can store your silver spoon in the convenient luggage compartment.
