Not bad, I put about 21k on my Triumph last year, but I didn't have the whole prophet thing taking up my time..........

Better bring a towel with you when you go to trade up, you're going to need it for the bath you'll take over 21k on a Japanese sport bike. I hope you kept it stock.

Scoff if you like, but years ago a friend of my dads bought a high-end touring bicycle and spray canned it zinc-chromate yellow, tires, bars, everything. he left it parked all over Seattle and the U.W with just a flimsy bike chain and it never got stolen or messed with.

At that time I think he spent close to $2k on it, he said "screw it, I know what it is, I don't need to show off"

You could join the WMRRA and race it, that would improve your skills a great deal.

Are you going to get a 1200 Roadster? They seem to be a real good bike @ around $8k or so.

Honda is really on the trailing edge when it comes to motorcycle fashion.

First the street-sweeper fendered Rune comes out right when choppers get popular and now tribal graphics. Tribal Flames?

What's next? A barbed wire tattoo around the bicep? Cooooooooooool.

I have yet to see a positive comment in these threads (almost). Honda - these are your customers - are you listening? $5200 scoot with no storage Pulling the 599 because you priced it too high? C'mon. How can Europe have a better market and more choices? WTF!! Use your imagination - make a GB1000, VTR1000...air cooled..., 919 powered by a VTX1300 or vice versa, mix and match watcha' got already. I can't believe you built the Ascot, but now you won't make anything more adventurous than frilly saddlebags and tribal graphics. I'm ignoring the Rune because it just sucks. Build a bike people want to ride, period.

I couldn't see much differance myself, but then I didn't look too close.
