Not from me, big bang for the buck in my book.

The Beemers, Honda and Yamaha (alphabetical) I think would make outstanding Touring rigs. Maybe add a trunk. They'd probably be tough to beat for heavy-duty no-hassle commuting as well. For either purpose, I would buy any of them over Any pure Touring bike.

Now that's stubborn--instead of selling the bike, he keeps it and springs for a personalized plate in order to better advertise his displeasure!

Hey Buzz, Art the Dart would work. I'd guess not too many remember the original.

I think the MO crew was too easy on JB. You should have picked the Honda first, just to fry his ass.

I have 4 damn bikes now and I'm still not satisfied. I should get rid of all of them and keep the Shovelhead. That'll teach me good. Especially since the trans went south this weekend. I'm ready to get out the gasoline and matches for a fix damn it!

You didn't exceed the Shovel's 70hp design limit did you, with all that engine work? They're best left stock IMHO.

Heh heh. I may only have three bikes, but at least all of them run (for now).

Nice article! One of the best shootouts in recent memory.

Nice to see the FJR win in some objective fashion, as opposed to having Burns simply declare it the winner like last time.

Nice article guys. We were all wondering what you've been doing besides replying to falmes about the latest releases from the various mfrs...

Interesting to note that the Sprint ST is a few weeks away from having it's newest iteration released. Love to see this test next Spring.

When are Beemers gonna be worth their prices? I've yet to see one win a comparo like this.
