Fully adjustable suspension is great on the street, if you carry a passenger or luggage from time to time. -Sean

Re: 2004 Kawasaki Z750

I have two bikes with the Hayes HFX 9 brakes. They are quite possibly the worst disc brakes I've ever tried on a bike.

There is a company called Hope that makes 2, 4 and 6 piston monoblock calipers coupled with floating rotors for Downhill and Freeride bikes. They seem to be the current state of the art for MB brakes. When the cash is good, I intend to upgrade at least one of the bikes to the 6-piston HOPE setup in the front and 4-piston in the rear. -Sean

Or if you weigh as much as I do, somewhere in the range of 220-230 lbs.

Exhaust gasses through the frame

I think Confederate does it throught the swingarm, though it pretty much amounts to a straight pipe.

And what's wrong with everyone riding Japanese 750 fours?

Most of the parts/repair places would be out of business, but is that a bad thing?

You can freeze 'em to the sidewalk, submerge them in a lagoon, set 'em on fire, etc...and they'll still start and run. And keep running.

Long live the Japanese in-line 4! Down with V-twins! Or any twin for that matter. The Olsen Twins being on top of that list.

I propose a new insight group be formed: MSAT, translated to Mad Squids Against Twins.

Re: tell Kawi you want it

I e mailed Kawi off their web site to bring it to the USA back in Dec. The write ups in the UK mags had me ready to lay $ down. If enough of you e-mail them, possibly it will show up here. Since then I bought a Buell Lightning XB9S and am thrilled I did. Sorry Kawi you snooze you lose.
