Go for the Kawi and get a pair of slip-ons right away. It will look better (than those stock pipes) and sound like the Buell but with a Kawi motor.

I think the double gold pipes on the Kawi are kind of groovy looking. It's the tacked on ZX6 tail section that ruins the look.

I am seriously looking at the Z right now also. You can find them on sale for a pretty good price( under 7000). According to paper it should be all the buell is and some in any performance catagory. The fact that the buell is really cool helps it a lot, but I think the Z is about as cool. So the only thing that is stopping me is that I don't want to find out that another naked bike is released for 2005, that I like better, a month after I get the Z. Ohhhhh my life is so rough!!

Keep the Buell and buy the Z.

I'm partial to Ksakis having owned several and gotten good service from all. I'd lose the Shogun Warrior tailpipes on the Z though.

The Buell, however, is just too cool for school.

Sean should be able to help you out. He's ridden both.

The Z1000 is a cool lookin bike with much more motor than the Buell... If I didnt already have a ZRX1100, I'd be all over the black and red one..

Put the Kawasaki Z1000 engine in the Buell and have the best of both worlds!
