No kidding. When was the last time you guys did a bike review (that wasn't a cruiser AND you didn't crash...)?

From Murfreesboro, TN? Ummm... No. It's I-24, to I-40, then I-40 all the way to Vega, TX. I left Sunday at 3:50cst, and arrived Monday at 3:50cst at the exxon at exit 35. My mapping software says 1008 miles. My odometer read 1139.

www.mapquest.com says 1003 miles.

perhaps you misread my starting point?

Didn't see TX thought you'd misspelled Vegas. Sorry. VWW

So you must have come through Oklahoma City around 11pm or so eh? Next time call and I'll put the coffee on for you or at least offer the spare room for a couple hours sleep on the way back home.

Is the panhandle of Texas not the most mind numbing stretch of road you've ever ridden? I get tired on that piece of I-40 every time I ride it. I could have just slept 8 hrs and I still get sleepy. The last time we rode to Taos we took the northern route though the OK panhandle just to avoid that piece of I-40. We didn't make as good of time but we weren't fighting sleep.

First, I dont like the idea of being the sheep(you have bad odds)

second, you can not "ignore" and "prepare" at the same time.

third, I think(I dont know because im not in school) that the things you learn in school are helpful, according to most people.

But this is dangerously close to complaining, and since I don't know who I am voting for I better not complain. I do like to talk about motorcycles though. And right now I am voting for one of those Z1000s from Kawi. I am not totally sold on them but I can't find a naked type bike I like better.

You're very confused Stoney... But not about the Z1000. I hope you are going for the black one. I've had a hard-on for that bike since I saw the first press release. Get on one and Roll brother!

I did 800 miles in the rain from Newport Oregon to Auburn Wa. in one day on my bagger, but I had the po-lice springpost saddle so it was pretty comfortable

I've been gone camping and horse riding for a few days, good to see nothings changed at MO, kpaul still whining, posting political ***** and complaining about off-topic posts and lack of content,, everyone else trying to talk about bikes.....life goes on

I don't feel confused. Especially since ,with a little bit of work, I got you to talk about motorcycles. Do you like or hate the gold pipes on the z1000, I don't mind them. I have seen some with aftermarket 4-1 headers and it looks pretty cool to. Do you think any other naked bikes are going to be intro'ed soon and I would kick myself if I didn't wait to see my options?
