Re: It's counter balanced!

Thw Wing is cutting it just fine. In fact, I am eagerly awaiting the announcment of the 05 Wing next week.. ..rumors of 2000cc / 145hp!

I figure I have a kick ass Touring bike, now I need a poser bike for all those trips to bike night and to zip around town on. The Deluxe, Hammer, Rocket III, a used Valk....I am exploring my options.

Two bikes are better than one.

Re: Triumph can't do worse than Honda....

Nobody would want that thing at 15K either. What an overbaked concept. Dragonball Z for motorcycles.

I bet if we needed to consult an expert on polishing turds, you'd be the guy to ask.

Re: Triumph can't do worse than Honda....

They had one at the local Honda shop here as well, first it was up on a pedestal with Do Not Touch signs all over, now it's in the middle of the isle so you damn near trip over it when you walk in the door. They don't even bother wiping the fingerprints off it.

A new XB9 for 5 grand ?

What are you thinking about, whether to put it on the Visa or Debit?

(Buells excepted of course as they can run circles around MANY sport bikes,

Ya, I'm scared! They're so competitive! Wow!

Re: 2005 Harleys & Buells

You really should take one for a ride. If you're comming off of a non-US bike, you'll be less then impressed with buells. And then there's the price!

Re: 2005 Harleys & Buells

All way overpriced as usual!

SCREAMIN' EAGLE VRSCSE V-ROD

Lookout Yamaha V Max for the SCREAMIN' EAGLE VRSCSE V-ROD –

No one has said much about the new SCREAMIN' EAGLE VRSCSE V-ROD

ItÂ’s got about the same Horsepower as the Yamaha V-Max which put out 117.9 hp @ 8,400 rpm to the back tire. See MO article

http://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mccompa...powerdyno.html But not a word was said.

Bored out from 1130cc to 1250cc with cylinder heads ported and polished, new cam timing, etc. Supposed to put out 10 percent more power then the standard Revolution engine.

HumÂ… the stock bike puts out 106.6bhp @ 7,950rpm and thatÂ’s on the MO dyno not a quote from H-D. See MO article (2003 Harley V-Rod Vs. [modified] Yamaha Warrior: Sean Alexander - April 04, 2003 Torrance CA).

SoÂ… the ScreaminÂ’ Eagle V-ROD should put out around 117.26bhp at the back tire. Not bad for a Harley Davidson that you can pickup at your local dealer.

Weight looks to be about the same as wellÂ… Could make an interesting re-match.
