So is it really as good in abrasion protection as leather? You don't see any road racers wearing these suckers. That said, the best protection is what you'll actually wear. I think the advantages are such that I'd wear one (a one-piece unit) versus leathers, but I won't buy a Stich right away.

It's probably as good as leathers at low speeds, which are the vast majority of street crashes.



People do wear them at track days, just not during races, mostly because they would flap around too much at high speeds.

Well, I thought about the "relaxed", but then realized I'd probably be wearing this suit well into my "rotund" years, so I opted up a size.

Default If you are worried about the heat...

Get Hi Viz. By being so reflective, it keeps a lot of the solar radiation from cooking you.
