"Kpaul, u r a glutton for abuse man. keep up the good fight but i think you are up against the Praetorian Bush Guard sounds like. The only thing that will dissuade them is if GWB gets a blow job in the oval office, they won't tolerate that..."

1) I expect that F451 will be posting a complaint to MO about this off-topic political content in his motorcycle forum (sound of crickets chirping...)

2) WTF? Are you really John Burns? The prose-master? This reads like you're either drunk or temporarily

retarded (I don't mean the politics, I mean the prose.)

3) Keep up the good fight, huh? Let me tell you something - I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, I despise the religious Right, and I think John Ashcroft is mentally disturbed. I'm one of the "swing voters" who's supposed to decide this election. The past few months have cemented with Rebar my decision to hold my nose and vote for Bush. Credit that to the paranoid, froth-mouthed rantings of Air America, Michael Moore, and Kpaul. There is no way I want this tinfoil-hat brigade anywhere near the White House. So, yeah, keep up the good fight, guys.

That's funny - I can say "****head", but I can't say "c*u*m laude."

Anrajala, we in america have this foolish notion that it is better and more economical to be free from governmental control over every important aspect of our lives. As any society progresses through socialism towards communism worker ouput falls and produtivity is decreased. Your dream society is slowly crumbling around you. You apparently haven't noticed. For a look at your future, and sadly ours too, note what happened to the worker's paridise in the old USSR. VWW

Being in the enviable position of having been poor both in the US and in Europe, I can say that a young single professional is better off in the US. But for many others, especially family people, Northern Europe is clearly the better alternative. Why? Three words: peace of mind. Everybody is taken care of. Also our women are more generous, if you know what I mean.

Our society is not exactly crumbling either. Economy is growing slow but steady and Euro is stronger than ever.

do you always make your big political decisions based on what you see in the movie theater or at this site? if so that's pretty sad. perhaps you should consider tuning in to the nightly news? just a thought.

here's a brief summary of what you'll find there: there are people dying in baghdad. jobs are transferring overseas (and they ain't comin back). and seniors are being forced to choose between medicine and food.

just thought maybe you'd be interested in knowing these tidbits.

See? This is what makes MO so much fun. Not the place for high-brow discussions. It's for slamming on people with precision and force.

Y'know, getting married doesn't stop preoccupation with one's tool. If anything, it increases it.

As great of an example as that is, it pales in comparison to the American Indian.
