Re: Ducati makes good on KPaul prophecy.

Sorry dude. The V-Twin will never die. Just wait until the maintenance costs of the wunderbikes become common knowlege.

Honda thought that it was gonna replace all inline 4s with the V-4s back in the 80's. That really worked out well. They've now got one, count 'em, one V-4 in production.

What's the valve adjustment on a Ducati V-4 gonna cost? $1200? Now they've got twice as many valves to drop into the cylinders.

Re: Rider Demographics for Dummies.

You really are the world's geatest font of stupid generalizations aren't you?

You really are a pimply 14 year old aren't you? No one with any riding experience could think such things.

You wouldn't know a joke if it kicked you in the balls. How nice that would be though.

Back to ignore mode.

Re: Ducati makes good on KPaul prophecy.

Only doofus could think Ducati releasing a limited production run of a street-going MotoGP bike (at $60,000!!) would replace the bread and butter V-Twin.

He may have a future in journalism.

Re: Rider Demographics for Dummies.

You are right...the whole KPAUL thing must be a hoax. No one could be that consistently clueless.

I'm an "old dude" without a Harley. VLAD is an "old dude" without a Harley. I see 'em (Harleyless Old Dudes) on alternate weekends in the N GA, W NC & E TN mt roads from late March until early Nov each year - when my wife and I are at our palatial (well, clean anyway) place in NE GA....BUT wait! It could be a Republican Hoax! Quick - call Al Franken!

Re: Casual Protective Gear

Around here it's more Harley's and metric cruisers than anything else, still lots of sportbikes though...

You see Triumphs and other Euro bikes here quite often because of Seattle and Tacoma metro areas, in fact I rode to work with a guy on a Speed Triple that I ran into the on I-5, the other day, blew past a couple of HD's like they were standing still LOL

Re: Casual Protective Gear

Just came back from 9 days through Michigan, Ontario Canada, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and nary a sportbike to be found. Wings, Beemers, and overwhelmingly Harleys which were spewing parts and oil all over Hell's creation were the only things to be found where the wind blows free. While you and me were riding, KPaul was posting. I guess that's why we talk from DOING and he talks from READING. By the way, Utah has got to be my favorite state ever. It's certainly the best kept secret in the west. Don't let it out. I'll be back there soon!
