Re: Casual Protective Gear
You don't ride in the rain, and you need a bagger to go 45 miles?

Gee buz, why didn't you just trailer it?

Re: Casual Protective Gear
I wasn't sure the Geezer could make it 45 miles without falling apart. At least you can pick up the parts on the way back home. I think Sean wants your chick more than a ride on the Brutale. Keep an eye on him. lol

Re: Casual Protective Gear
You forgot that when it gets below 65 he needs the electric vest too! Damn wimpy Harley riders.

Re: Casual Protective Gear
Now that's an idea! I'll put it in the back of my pickup. That will keep the parts that fall off in close prozimity to the Glide. I can get some stick on bugs and stuff to look cool once I arrive.

She lives in Orange County. Trailering a bike 45 miles is considered "normal" in that part of the world. It's too dangerous to actually ride. Now where are the keys to my Volvo SUV?

Re: Casual Protective Gear
We just came off our little 4 day trip to Bryce, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyonlands and some other places. You can have my bugs. Real authentic. Only squashed once.

Lots of Harleys out. I should've brought a trailer to pick up the parts strewn all over Arizona.

Didn't see a single Triumph. Must've been a shortage of Loc-tite(tm).

Not one sportbike either. Just Harleys, GoldWings, Beemers and a smattering of ST's, Concours, etc. Wasn't someone yaking recently about what fair weather bikers those GPTB guys are? The temperatures were in the 40s to the 60s almost the whole trip. How come the HD guys outnumber everyone else out where people are actually riding and not merely posting? Heck, I saw more guys on 80's Kwacker 1000s and such than the hot bikers with the big boasts. Not a single Ninja on the road. Anywhere. Imagine that.

Where were all the sportbikers? Quoting stats at the Burger Barn, I bet. Come to think of it I did see 3 sportbikes at a convenience store in Page, Az. And a handful at a cafe in Mt Carmel, Ut. Parked, of course.
