Best wishes to Sean's right hand for a speedy recovery. Also nice background info on the testers and testing process. I always pictured the tests as: riders are issued little spiral notebooks with the "MO" logo, ride single-file down the highway for a pre-determined distance, then jot down notes and Chinese-fire-drill to the next bike. I never realized testing was a contact sport.

I guess if the criteria is 'I'm not afraid to ride it hard' a Royal Enfield should be in the pack.

If you think that hp claims are bad, just check out claimed "dry weights".

Lemme speak for Sean on that one - no beer drinking swayed his decision to go on with the show - it was pure determination and dedication to you MO-rons to bring you the best possible shootout given the current conditions. Sean doesn't drink as far as I know - he just rides FAST {where appropriate that is... another reason he endured the punishing ride to buttonwillow the following morning... } There's more to do @ Hooters than drink beer ya know!

It might have somwthing to do with a heavier bike with more power and those constant burnouts.

You know... There are some tires that cause head shake even on my CBR1000f. A different tire though, and headshake ain't a problem.

That doesn't mean that the bike or the tire is bad, it just means they don't like each other.

This isn't news to guys like Sean though. I don't know what they were thinking.

The ZX-10R did the first two sessions of the day on OEM rubber and had the exact same symptoms as after we fitted the Diablo Corsas. Only with the Diablos it was going about a second per lap faster.

EBass says: "So SA, about that last sesh where you and Emery couldn't pass my fat, old, slow ass in 20 minutes of trying....."

I believe that both Sean and Mike's bikes had run out of gas during that session.... they both pitted - had a sammich - then went back to lapping you! But I could be wrong... Sean and Mike WERE swapping bikes along the way as well. Got that picture right here: enjoy!

Default Lol!

Holy crapoly, Killer! I didn't think you'd actually ever use your subscription! Good to see ya out of the woodwork.

Hey, did your (nowadays) incredibly slow and ill-handling FZR show up yet? I don't even know why you bought it, your hog's got 300 more cc's.
