Something must be wrong. I just got an e-mail from Kimmie asking for an extra speedloader.

Kim,

Was it the split National Title (USC/LSU) that drove you to this act of contrition?

I guess the only disadvantage to painting my bike flat black is that I'll never have a cute girl wash it, 'cause, well, noone ever washes it, because washing a flat black bike is silly.

It's actually become quite the running joke between me and the dealer. I bring the bike in for services, and they use the pressure washer to knock off the mud and grime and rubber bits. I pick up the bike and go ride through mud puddles to put them back.

Riding a RS Warrior through mud puddles is kinda hard, actually.

H-D has totally blown away the previous licencing champion, the Corvette.

The damned H-D line of cleaning products is pretty impressive. It's a great example of the phenomenon I just made a phrase up for, Synergistic Lateral Total Marketing. But today, I took the stupid dog to PetSmart and looked around - there is a full line of H-D collars, leashes, harnesses, squeaky-toys, chewie-thingies, and other doggie accoutrements. Wow. Like, there is everything.

NASCAR, no licencing slouch, only sells dog collars and harnesses, albeit in several types with your most popular drivers, yanno, Junior, Jeff Gordon, Viagra guy, That One Guy who Thanks his Sponsor and Crew, etc.

Hey, I think it's great! I'd buy a Honda dog collar for my fuzzy little Food Consumer. Assuming that Honda never actually produces one and I am not forced to back this statement up.

OK--here I am contemplating whether to renew my subscription for another year (24 days left). In general, the site appears to be in decline but once in a while along comes a good article to keep me interested. The timeliness of this fluff piece has made my decision easier. Adios amigos.

Default 85 days left on my subscription

I like the paper magazines better even though they only arrive once per month. MO is pretty much written by unpaid folks that gab back and forth about nothing. If it wasn't for the "Upchuck a thought" there would not be anything to read. When my subscription runs out I'll not miss this crapola one iota.
