Yeah, it's pretty bad. They finally have the SVs up, though, so that's an improvement.

I recall a couple of Car and Driver "beater showdowns" or something like that where editors had something like a $1000.00 budget to buy any car and they just beat the ***** out of them . It was funnier than hell. A similar showdown would be even funnier (if a little more dangerous) with motorcycles.

MOrons: What $500.00 beaters would you like to see thrashed?

Finally, a new crop of bikes for the everyday rider! Yay!

Thanks for a fine review... few questions though:

- what was the gas mileage you observed on the freeway & twisties?

- any annonying vibrations through the pegs/grips?

Default Already been done

Cycle World did that at least twice. They sent their staff out to see what they could come up with for $500 or less. Some pretty sweet rides showed up. The second time, they did it with dirt bikes.

Default Re: As Big As This Year's Superbike Comparo...well okay maybe not

Kawak already has the Z750 equivalent - the ZR-7S which is another great budget-bike.

You don't know anything about Western Colorado. There ain't no tree huggers round them parts. Kick your ass city boy. Us self made men know a pretty sissy when we read one. I spent summers fighting forest fires wussy. Did you get your check from Daddy's trust fund yet?

You mean you have time share big deal, I have one in Whistler BC. Difference is Iworked my way through college: B.S. Electrical Engineering , MBA, and M.S. in Computer Science. I didn't call home to my Daddy for more money. Gunnison,?Crested Butte are like Steamboat, Durango, Aspen i.e. islands in sea of redneck ranchers and coalminers. Drive on down to Glenwood, Rifle, GJ, etc. to see the real Western Colorado i.e. Men that would have you for lunch SilverSpoonFly.
