No kidding. The site is a real pain. I think their dsigner got a little too cute. How about a straightforward site? It is the worst manufacturer site out there.

They can borrow my Ninja 250 for the test.

I don't know exact figures, but I think Kawasaki sells more Ninja 250s than they do Ninja 500s. The 250 is just an all around better value. That being said, there would be absolutely nothing wrong with having both a 250 and 500 in that test.

Good review.

Greater bike. I'm hesitating in changing my '97 VFR and Multistrada and DL1000 share a good momentum...

BTW, nice done, the web design stuff in MO.

Wht don't you make a test for used bikes ?

kinda review of old shootouts....

comparing real world things, like new bike vs 2nd hand.

Neither did the Hawk GT of the same era sell and look at the sucess of the SV650. Honda was a few years ahead of the times.

I wish I could take all the credit. However, MO's own Swiss Army Knife, Photographer, Test Rider, Web Editor Alfonse Palaima did the bulk of the redesign. I just stand back and watch in awe as Fonzie fixes anything that's broken in the MO Supercomputer.

If my DR650 would go down the road without turning into a torture chamber there would be no need to get the DL. I'll keep the DR for fun, mud, winter riding on salt, etc. The DL will be for touring.

If I lived a little closer than 2000 miles away, I'd let them borrow my Bandit 600 for the test, even though they aren't being sold new in the US anymore. I guess I'll just have to read the comparo and compare my own vast experience with all things two-wheeled and reach the conclusion that my bike is better than all of the others in the test, even though I've never ridden any of the other bikes in the test.

I too am interested in the 500 and FZ600. Would love to see a shootout with these 2 and an SV650.

I agree Honda made a huge mistake not bringing in a partialy faired 599. It may be what stops my purchase. Also would love to see Kawi bring the Z750 to the states. The brit rags all praise it highly.

Looks like more HP and torque than the FZ600 and the 599 at the same basic price.
