Default yawn

Like the Great Griswold , if you make enough insane predictions eventually one of them will come true.

The difference is that Griswold knew he was a charlatan.

That's not the same highwayman, you've mistaken classic American literature for some fools homo-erotic-leather-fetish internet drivel. (an honest mistake)

And yes you're right seruzawa, sport standards are the ones right now. New sportbikes are too cramped, cruiser's like this are a bit over the top for me, and full-boat touring bikes are more than I'm after.

My idea of a cruiser is a Dyna low-rider or a new Bonniville, They both work within my minimalist tastes and lifestyle.

A friend of mine bought a new 'winger last year, it'l scoot on down the road alot faster than you'd think for such a big bike.

Don't forget Todao(?)Baba designed the new wing. He's the same one that designed the 929 and 954 among others.

If you'd care to check, the first referance to sport standards coming of age was in Rider magazine's road test of the '01 Bandit in 2000,

Oh right I forgot you wern't "into" bikes in 2000, sorry (my bad)

Which Harley costs twice as much? How many Harleys or Kaw 2000's di you ride to make this comparison? You sound like another Cycle World jockey running his mouth.

Betcha a beer this a-hole isn't going anywhere. This is the only place a loser like him can get attention. He wouldn't leave if they paid him. You can pay up on the trip to Alaska!

Yeah okay okay. Goldwings are the greatest thing in the world. They are topnotch backroads burners... yadda yadda yadda. Slavish kowtowing etc etc etc.

If you feel that the Goldwing is just the thing for twisty roads then go for it. I'll stick with something a little less brobdignagian.

Gettin' my GSX1100G's seat restuffed and covered and the chrome redone on the exhaust (Suzuki's chroming sometimes leaves a bit to be desired) in preparation.

He conveniently neglected to mention the other half of that prediction... that cruiser sales would collapse simultaneously.

Oh wait, that must've been the other Kook. The one that answers (and moderates) his own posts.
