Really? I live in NY. Every dealer in the Valley I go to loves to use the following words: MANUFACTURER"S SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE. Except for the Harley Dealership across the river (the nearest dealership as far as I know). Their words are more like: "Well, I know the price is bla bla dollars, but I know I can sell this bike at this (higher) price." I don't have the luxury of driving all over the country to try to squeeze another measly $300 out of some dealer two days away, just to end up paying that amount back in shipping or hotel stays/gas.

I dont know about that one. Last year when I rode the Dragon I was told by the owner of Deal's Gap Inn that the official speed record for the road was held by a couple of crazy ol' riders on late model Goldwings. I have seen these things move like a rocket on TNT in the past, so I wouldn't put it past them.

I've only seen one 0-60 for the Vulcan 2000 and I believe it was 4.12 seconds.

I've seen two 0-60's for the VTX1800. One was 3.8 seconds and the other was 3.5.

I haven't seen any article comparing the VN2000 and the VTX. I would have expected the VN2000 to have the best 0-60 time, especially considering Kawasaki's statement that they had compared all performance cruisers and the VN2000 would acelerate "harder" than any other performance cruiser. Maybe it meant because the VN2000 weighed so much, it would have to acelerate harder to reach the same speed as the other cruisers.

Question for someone out there in cybermotoland: Has anyone seen a comparison of the performance cruisers that compares the 0-60 times? Has anyone seen other 0-60 times for the VN2000?

Harley owners care about image the most, they buy into a life style. Not everyone is in need of a image, some people are comfortable with who they are. My brother is a dyed in wool Harley rider. He thinks along with most of his friends that any other brand is a joke!
