In the interest of the journalistic integrity of M.O., I volunteer to ride any of the V-11 series 'Guzzis, for as long as it takes, to get a true middle aged fat guy perspective on month in and month out ownership.

I'm thinking "true four season test" here guys...... don't thank me... it's what I do

Did you ride your Suzuki to the Star Days thing to show the rubes what a real motorcycle looks like?

I've had one and ridden many others, thanks but no thanks, I'd rather be a sheep than have cold stones. By the way don't give them gas at a stop, your stones will be crushed by the sideways motion

Nah, I had the 20mm ammo cans off for a new coat of camo paint. They are easier to open and seal out the weather better than the luggage on these test bikes!

And I don't have a milk carton. (My buddy with an R100 airhead does. Color matched in blue.) I have a JC Whitney Special on my luggage rack. High class indeed!

I agree. The Griso fitted with the engine kit from the corsa would be an interesting ride to embarrass other cruisers with on winding roads. VWW

I have always liked Guzzis 'cause their not Harleys. All the Japanese cruisers leave me cold. I don't expect nor want a lot of high tech in a cruiser. What I am really lusting over is the V1100 Breva. I have seen pictures of it in red with the matching hardbags. By time you do a weight to horsepower ratio on it I think the Breva should be a very capable tourer. It won't be a "full dressed" tourer ala Goldwing and its not another cruiser with hardbags and handlebar mounted fairing. Motorcycles are not supposed to be about following the crowd. Wakeup, go riding, and enjoy whatever you got!!!

With a weight of only 550 lbs the Guzzi is a veritable lightweight for a cruiser. Just the thing to humiliate that guy with the drag pipes on the Mean Streak who wakes me up at 6AM on Sunday mornings.

I was disappointed that they brought neither the MGS-01 nor the Griso to the IMS show in Denver. I did raise some hell about it, though.

If your stones are cold, no motorcycle can help you!
