Heh. Ok, I should have checked the timestamp. Still, to claim that something posted 10 minutes before midnight on the West Coast was put out "on the 22nd" is kinda stretching the bounds of credibility.

California Stone?

Aptly named. 550 lbs and 74 hp.

Yeah, who would want a bike that only has 12+ second 1/4 miles and a top speed of 120 mph. What a rock.

Am i the only one that sees some Firebolt in the MGS? Something in the stance of the thing. I likes it!

Think they might sell more of them in California if they start change the name to the V11 Babaloo?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! ( & I own a Firebolt). The MGS is beautiful. Ghezzi and Brian are a very talented design pair.

Heh, yes, agreed. The Honda thing was very last-minute, if we hadn't've promised the test on the 22nd, we would've held it until the 24th to give the CBR more time front-and-center on the homepage.

Still, the tour was a good Christmas-type story for those Northern MOFOs that're freezing their lives away right now...

I think anyone getting a v11 le mans is going to be one happy camper. For the street you wouldn't need anymore than this bike offers. In fact this is a better all around bike than the current buell offerings. buell seems to have given up on a all day in the saddle bike. This is one really nice sport tourer without all the overkill. Comparing it to all the other sport tourers (with overkill), considering the price, I think it's almost a bargain. A novelty to boot. How about an air cooled sport touring comparison of this bike the 1200 buell and the bmw offering. They are all about the same price. Anyone out there with any all day experience on any of these bikes ??

The V-11 part sounds OK, but Ballabio isn't as manly sounding as "FLH Ultra Super Classic Electronic Fuel Injected Electra Glide (With Tons of Chrome)" or even GSX1100G With Milk Crate and Ammo Cans.

Guess them Italians just can't get it right !
