Default Re: Easier to Throw Around Names than to Articulate Ideas

It seems lately the Conservatives are trying to change everything and the Liberals are trying to maintain the "Status Quo". I'm so confused!

Default You're going to ruin all the fun...

But it makes life so simple when you can fit people into little boxes.

All democrats are commielibpinkotraitorousorwellianbabykillers.

All republicans are hatemongerfascistoilcompanylovingenvirowreckers.

All environmentalists are lyinganthrophobicSUVowninghypocrites.

I'm sure we can think of others. Apply generalization... turn off brain.

Well, as I said your situation is different over there. Yes you may also have what appears to be a fair share of nutters but, hey, yours are a bunch of wussies.

We have the bask terrorists ETA, old school Bader-Meinhoff, Red Brigade, IRA, we have even Corsican Independece bombers, we have the French Islam movement, Kroatians, Serbs and Kosovoans and Muslims and Montenegroans. Jeez, even you guys had to come over here to bomb the hell out of them before they half settled down. We have Chechens on a war path, we have Russian mafia that make your mobsters look like a Muppet Show Christmas Carols On Valium. Also note that "Near East" is not called that because its close to Oklahoma.

So, if you guys and us guys think different on gun issues, is that strange?

If you don't agree I'll have no recourse but to send our French farmers there. They are such a riotous bunch that they'll block all the motorways and beat everyone up. So there.

Default Gen Clark's plan to rebuild America

"Right now, the sad fact is that too many Americans are working harder and harder and earning less and less," Clark said. "Under George W. Bush, the typical working family has seen its income fall by nearly $1,500. Compare that to the eight years under President Clinton (news - web sites), when the typical family saw its income rise by $7,200.

I agree with your list of bad guys in Europe. However, banning guns for regular citizens has not stopped terror groups in Europe from getting their hands on any weapons they desire. It has only made it impossible for you to protect your self and family from the "bad guys." I hear London (without legal guns) is the most dangerous city in the civilized part of the world. More assaults and home breakins than ever before.
