I would just like to say thank you for not doing an underseat exhaust. Unless you can make it pretty like the 916 leave it alone.

I guess it's about time I looked into getting myself a literbiker. After all, literbikes now rev higher than my 600. It wasn't so bad when it was just the newer 600's revving higher, but then the 750's went higher, and now the 1000's can do it. I'm starting to realize just how old the technology is in my engine... And to think that there was a time when I thought that a 12,000 RPM redline was high.

I agree, the underseat exhaust trend is one I can do without unless it's on a Ducati or MV Agusta.

Looks good Kawasaki! Too bad you didn't stick with the AMA Superbike program and give Eric Bostrom a ride. I think he earned it.

I think we need to get MR ALLCAPS' brain back in a functioning body again so he can return to ztuntin' again.

Where's Dr Frankenstien (that's pronounced Frankenstien) when we need him?

It was the anticipation of this test that caused me to renew my subscription with MO, thanks guys. One question though, could you be a bit more specific about what was going on with the clutch. Was it shifting by itself? At any rate, my deposit is already down for a green one.

Nice job on the test. Good that you went to the track first, 'cause these things don't really get a chance to stretch their legs on the street. From this review and the "first ride" reports that I've seen on the Honda, I think that the era of the GSXR is officially over. (Had to say that to inspire the die hard Gixxer fans.)
