Nice snowplow. Reminds me of the ones I used to see on New England AFB's in the 60's.

What's with the caption under the picture of the lady standing in front of the tour bus? Is she a mummified hooker or something?

Just for curiosity, I checked Mapquest to see how far away Skagway is (by road) from Seattle.

1549.42 miles!

I'd imagine riding that is an adventure in itself.

Some friends of mine rode their Harleys (he on a Wide Glide, she on a Sportster!) from San Diego to Alaska and back.

I've been to Alaska twice but never on a motorcycle.

I'd think the lady is deserving of either a medal or committment to a room where she can't do something like that to herself again.

Maybe when the numbness sets in, the additional miles don't matter?

It would be well worth it to escape Seattle and the dangerous gang of ninja riders that never rev their engines over 9000rpm.

KPaul, go wring your hands somewhere else. We're talking about motorcycles here.

I was wondering too...

Either the cribs were the original (and only) Point of Interest or else there is something going on in that bus.
