Seriously, though... am I the only one who thinks that this looks like an XB12S with the engine turned sideways?

Agreed, but I can still watch it. Loathsome though it may be, they DO make WMP for OSX.

Default Yossef...

Great write up. You have a difficult job, and I'm sure not one of us envies you it.

In other news, excellent work keeping the camera and the bike attatched! I know lately the asphalt has been bizarrely magnetically attracted to the camera gear on your bikes, Yossef...

Finally, which spelling is correct -- your message board handle "Yosef" or the byline "Yossef?"

Oh! pardon me. You see, our Canadian friends, and people in extreme northern Minnesota, actually call snowmobiles snow cats. I guess I misunderstood you, as I have never seen one of those things in the link Yossef posted. You are right, that would be cool!

Nope wasn't you. It was KPaul Cook. He's getting ready to lose all moderation privelages. (That's a hint Mr. Cook)

without getting into the quicktime vs wmv debate, Microsoft just released Windows Media Player v9 for OS X. You can get it here:

Love the bike. Great article... except for the parting dig at Buell. Has the author ever even ridden a Buell RR1000 or RSS1200? Those are some super nice machines, so I doubt it.

Why is it so en'vogue to deride Buell in the moto press these days? It is unfortunate.

Default Yikes!

"the Furia has that double sided eternal erection with those two towering cylinders sticking out almost disproportionately. What a sight!"

Yikes! What is this, "Queer Eye for the Ghezzi & Bri?"

Umm...no.

The Guzzi V7 project was a result of the Italian government's request for a police bike replacement. It entered the competition against Ducati and Benelli (who used their entrant as the base for the Tornado).

I too enjoy the semi-agricultural nature of my LeMans 1. It is one of the reasons I keep it. It is the historical inaccuracy and the slight to both Carcano and Todero to which I object. Yeah, that's it!
