You should try night riding with NVGs (Night Vision Goggles).

When I was still in the military, we flew primarily at night with NVGs.

On occasion we would "borrow" them and go out riding. What a blast. You

can see, but no one can see you! Of course one has to be very careful

riding places with other traffic or lighted signs, because any white

light at all will wash out the image (blind you) until the light source

goes away. We found the best way was to use one eye naked and the other

with the NVG. We stole this idea from the AH-64 Apache guys, whose

system was like that. When we got to the middle of nowhere, we could use

both eyes through the goggles.
